Uptown Strings offers lessons in acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, drums and many more.

Our instructors are the finest in Central Ohio, all highly-qualified musicians with many years of teaching experience. Most of them are working professional musicians who perform in the Columbus area and beyond. They offer instruction in a variety of musical styles including, rock, jazz, classical, blue grass, finger-style, blues and more. Music is their profession, not their hobby.

Current tuition for lessons:

$90.00 per month, paid in advance of each month, on the last scheduled lesson of the month for the upcoming month. Lessons are 1/2 hour once a week, four weeks per month. ($5.00 late fee can be assessed for late payment). Lessons are paid directly to the instructor by cash or check. Credit cards are not accepted for tuition payments.

Because of the density of the schedule we do not give make-up lessons or allow fee deductions for a student absence. If the student is sick or has a family emergency the instructor may choose to schedule the student in another time slot at the instructor's discretion. If the instructor has decided to re-schedule a lesson, fees are still due as described above.
